I'm really good at braking. I've broke my pedals, my front wheel, my saddle and even my wrist. Great work guys!!

This guy is a natural born teacher . He teaches from paying attention to his own riding experience, not from some theory . Teachers that teach in this way are always clear and easy to understand . People that teach from theory are generally not as lucid and lack the ability to transfer that knowledge to the student . These are exceptionally helpful videos with a lot of emphasis on visual explanation .

Kyle - I don't do YouTube comments often but felt compelled to write.

I'm a road cyclist who has fallen in love with mountain biking (identity crisis!).

Anyway, mountain biking is so much more about skill and while I have seen many videos by many creators, yours are the absolute best. I can't tell you how much I love and appreciate your videos.

They cover great topics, you talk about the concepts and physics, you then walk through the exercises in logical progressing steps, and make it easy for people to emulate.

And on top of it, you and April seem like you could qualify as nicest people on the planet.

Thanks SO much and please keep them coming!

Jumping is my vote.
I just wanna say that these videos are some of the better tutorial videos I’ve seen.
I find the information is very clearly explained and there is a lot of depth in the details.
It is impressive to see April’s progression, not only skill and technique, but confidence as well.
Thanks for doing these.

Hey Kyle, I wanted to mention that the graphs on body positioning really help understand what you are trying to teach in each video. It's what makes your videos stand apart from others that I've seen. Oh and I vote for cornering in the next video.

I like the part where Kyle asks April if she wants him to lead her down the big rock roller. She says, No I can do it myself. Kyle looks really shocked and WORRIED while saying " No worries!". 😂

Without a doubt one of the best videos for improving your mountain biking skills. Kyle is a fantastic teacher and practical. I appreciate how April is not a bike ninja, but she's like us growing in her skills and confidence. I am always so happy to see April's skills improving and Kyle is the perfect teacher with all the small details he points out. Truly another great video for us mortals.

April kicks butt and Kyle you're a great teacher. You two have gotten me to just go for bike rides (hoping to do cool stuff in the future) and it's amazing to see a woman rocking it in a man dominated sport so thank you April for doing all you do it's wonderful to see you learning and achieving goals. Going out just for bike rides has helped with depression and has gotten me in better shape. Thank you so so much please just keep doing what you're doing you're not just teaching you're helping people!

Out of every youtube bike tutorial video makers you have the most accurate portrayal of an inexperienced rider than anyone else. A hard thing to do when you know what youre doing. You should do goon biking haha

One time I flew over the bars due to bad front braking on a rockslab, and I was still clipped in so I magically landed a frontflip without any damage to me or the bike😂

I’d like to see cornering and especially on off camber turns as this is where I often struggle to maintain speed and control.

Former road racer here who has dabbled in mountain bike riding but is switching over as I find myself enjoying it more. Especially when practicing the technical aspects of the sport. It makes all the difference and I can honestly say your channel is the most informative, easy to understand and most practical of any I have seen on the sport. Thank you and keep it up, you two!!

Recommending using metal brake pads with much louder 📢📢feedback for beginners would make this video PERFECT. Bravo👏👏

I knew nothing about bikes before the quarantine but with all the gyms closed, it got me to purchase a gravel bike and been riding on roads and light trails in Singapore for 3months now, almost every single day.
I happened to run into yr channel while searching for trail riding on youtube and now I’m inspired to buy my 1st ever mtb and get into it at the age of 37. Wish me luck and pls continue to upload your instructions, they are the best I’ve seen, so detailed and inspirational!
