If car is running below 20 speed then apply first clutch then brake
If car is running above 25 speed or in 4th 5th gear apply half break then clutch then full break👍🏻

They both work, they’re both the right way. Clutching first is easier for beginners since the engine won’t go off. Just make sure your braking is on point since clutching first will set it in neutral and might pick up speed.

Honestly if ur going from auto to manual the first thinks I noticed was u don’t have to use the brake all the time, just come off the gas and it slowed down a lot more
