the problem I am having is that it keeps looping on the FIRE TV STICK logo at the beginning. Any idea? I have tried unplugging and back in, I have tried holding the button combos you said, but nothing helps, and if I plug into my pc via usb, it makes a sound but never shows me the device

Wow yes unplugging worked for me, unplugging from the source... for me I had an electronic splitter, unplugged it for 30 seconds and it worked, thanks...

Thanks a lot. Once you said to check the wall outlet, I found that the cable came out of the port to the outlet. That fixed my black screen problem. You were the only one that mentioned to check the outlet. New subbie.

Tried numerous tips, tricks and a few choice words to no avail when my remote froze up in the middle of a program. I used your unplug the firestick from the wall and wait tip and bam....it now works just fine. I was to the point of taking the darned thing apart and fixing the spring contacts but would have to then glue the stupid cover back on as a result of the poor engineering on this device. I had earlier ordered another firestick/remote from your link so now I guess I have another choice. Thanks for your tips and your store is nice as well.

Just tried it. Worked like a charm.

My issue: Had been watching multiple episodes of a show. After about 4 episodes, the next one wouldn't go past 25%. I could hear it playing, but only picture I could see was the "still" of the episode. Tried a different show, nothin. Tried a movie, nothin. Tried youtube, nothin. Did the powering off/resetting and worked perfectly after.

Ahh tyy!! My problem was that it kept on making me talk to Alexa. It wouldn't let me turn it off with the power button or go home, so then I tried unplugging and plugging it back in but it still didn't work!! Then I found your video and it worked:) It was very easy and now I know what to do when this problem happens again!
