Sometimes overaggressive use of products which may contain retinol, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, could be actually causing flaking of skin. So we need to understand how long it is causing. Is it related to one particular place, such as in Chennai. There are conditions like psoriasis or psuedopsoriasis. We can give you soap free cleanser, hyaluronic based moisturizer, low based steroids etc. Sometimes we give oral medicines as well.

I may have used tretinoin the night before and the next day travelled in a car for 4 hours in the sun i forgot to put sunscreen on when i washed my makeup off i had dry face everwhere was red in spots and stung i tried soothing stuff but i think i irritated it more its also tight the dry skin 🥲
