As a person who has gone through this; here's some advice for those who say it stings:

Alright, first of all, do not wash ur face more then two times a day, u can do this once at night and once in the morning, after washing ur face, apply a toner, any toner at all, you do not need to use hyaluronic acid; its not mandatory and the dryness and flakiness can be fixed without it, and then just simply apply moisturiser. (do not overdo the moisturising) yes, it might sting but beauty is pain darling lol. Just go infront of a air conditioner so the stinging goes away faster, it will only sting until it fully absorbs into ur skin, also! If your gonna do hyaluronic acid, then PAT it until it absorbs into ur skin and do NOT rub it. Also, after doing this, do not go in any warm or hot areas, stay in a area that is chill or normal. The more cool the area is, the more it will help the stinging, remember; it only stings for a short period of time, so u have to bare with it.

That's a temp fix and ok. The root causes should be determined to stop it.

Applying noisturizer after taking a shower never worked for me, there will still be White flakes after 5 minutes with that Moisturizer you applied on. What i did was I waited few Minutes after taking a shower then wait till the White flakes on your skin shows up then i use Clean Ultra soft Damp cloth then gently wipe off those white flakes off my face and then apply Light Moisturizer than wont clogged your Pores. It works for me. Also i eat ice Cold Water Mellon makes my body feel fresh, helps with your Skin too ! 😁

Lately my face has been dry around my nose and mouth. I use these serum and moisturizer and they burn for a little bit. After a few hours they go dry again
