I have watched the millions of YouTube videos but never seen this much of the detail on how left heel moves in transition. It definitely gave me a HUGE breakthrough! I can't thank you enough Milo!

Absolutely addicted to your content Milo, it's pure gold! Has me swinging the club better than ever before. Please post more frequently, I'll be sure to take some videos in the coming weeks so I can seek your guidance through online lessons through the winter.

Milo, Thanks for yet another well explained part of the swing motion.

Awesome video.Corrected my illusions about need for elbows to press together at address (that we were taught for many a year) and the need for separation of hips from torso. Separation is between arm movement & hip movement to prepare for the sling shot effect/strike.

Best video I've seen on loading & transition; especially the recentering move that is needed. That's the power move! Thanks Milo.

Also in the Netherlands your channel is so much appreciated!! You’ve got a way of explaining it so clear. It’s a pity you release content only now and than.

Mr. Milo Lines.
You're definitely correct.
At address, Mr. Ben Hogan's left arms are relaxed.(Elbows-Down or Elbows-Low)
Ben Hogan Hands-Up and Elbows-Down
Bryson Dechambeau Hands-Up and Elbows-UP (right elbow is slightly lower)
Tony Finau Hands-Down and Elbows-Down
Zach Johnson Hands-Down and Elbows-UP

awesome stuff thanks for sharing knowledge, it really helps when you pull in dynamics from others sports

Great job on a challenging concept with the pressure shifts Milo. If there ever was a master fundamental this is it. So many good things happen in response to it. Things that people try and make actions that are actually reactions.
And that dumb Hogan book drawing with the elbows down was such a disaster to so many golfers. He had the loosest elbows I've ever seen often actually flexing his arms during waggle Lol!
Have you ever noticed G. Player did that dumb elbow down thing sometimes? Right from Hogan's book. Looked horrible. But Player would have gotten the ball in the hole with one arm missing I think.
Teaching this is so hard if it's not been developed in other sports previously in a student. I found playing catch with people sometimes helped.

Brace right, load left.
That was the genius in Hogan's swing. At the top, he was already on his lead side, (braced back) and this allowed his head AND EYES, to be steady into impact.
As you said in previous video, the lead hip resquares off the deep trail hip.
As the backswing finishes, do you feel the weight of the clubhead setting the hands?
Good stuff as always.

You are an awesome teacher Milo, problems I have I’m a senior with arthritis in my lower back due to a ruptured disc and surgery 20 years ago. Still very flexible but I just can’t seem to get it together. Not very athletic any longer at 65. LOL Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hey Milo, love your stuff and learn a lot from you and how to turn and use pivot. Handicap is a 7.5 now and playing well and my turn and pivot looks good on video however my miss is a thin shot here and there and I take a shallow divot of just brush the grass. My these go straight including the thin shot but what can I do to get the thin shots reduced. Thanks for your help. Looking forward to your answer/ drills and why this happens. Thanks Milo

Milo, as someone who has been told all my golfing life to load into that right heel to the top, this kind of blows my mind. So let me get this straight in my head. There is a pressure shift to the right to start the swing, but about hip high, the body starts to recenter itself. As this is happening, before I even finish the backswing, my body is starting to unwind. Am I correct with this assessment? Also, I notice your head is centered beautifully in your backswing. Is some of that the cause and effect of recentering in the backswing?( would love to see a future video on head movement and staying centered as most amateurs, myself included, seem to have a problem with swaying.)

Anyways, this video is an eye opener for me. Your videos are succinct, informative, and very helpful. Good work.

Is there a drill you can recommend for the transition feel Milo? Struggling to replicate it and finding myself getting all out of sequence.

Milo could you explain how the release occurs past impact with driver when trying to lead with the hands and tow the club.. How do the wrists behave past impact.. I find it hard to manage at speed.. Thanks

In spite of all those "shifts" or "movements" in the backswing, watch the line on Milo's front hip when he takes a full slow motion swing, as seen on a video from 10/25/20, it never goes past that line, at all, throughout the entire swing, and eventually circles back away from it slightly in the follow through. Those hips open like a door. There's no sliding. Imo, this is the key to his whole swing, besides the general athleticism required to have his club move in one direction (back, still loading) while his body is moving in the other direction (uncoiling) creating that slingshot effect for max distance. Even though most of us will never be able to achieve his speeds, that doesn't mean we can't mimic his ball-striking ability, to one degree or another. Don 't slide, let those hips open like a door, watch the 10/25 video.
