I decided to quit coffee cold turkey. I used to have 3 cups a day and depended on it to wake up, feel happy etc. For 9 days I had head splitting MIGRAINES. I couldn’t eat because of the migraines, I had heart palpitations, I was curled up on the floor actually praying to die. Took 3 painkiller pills at a time just to help with the pain, (they didn’t); my nose was running when I got the migraines, and sometimes felt like throwing up. I felt like I was going to die. Luckily I could stay at home at this period and I could afford to go through this by myself. But I hate videos like this that make it look like it’s a walk in the park. It is HARD. Day 11 I woke up, I could eat normally, no migraines, even mood etc. I am NEVER going back to coffee again :)

This video makes caffeine withdraw seem like some sort of mild inconvenience. It's not for many of us, caffeine withdraw was one of the hardest, darkest chapters of my life.

Real advice: cut back gradually to avoid feeling like death. Plan for a good two or three weeks, depending on how much you drink.

Speaking as somebody going through caffeine withdrawal atm this was absolutely useless information. It's not you though it's me so angry and irritated at everything atm.

Wow if only I drank water then the feeling of an ice pick digging into my brain would just magically go away.. I've never drank water before, great tip.

What if caffeine withdrawal is causing anxiety, panic, insomnia and headaches? I had to start drinking my coffee again to get rid of those symptoms.

It's worth the headache to quit caffeine. I've never had headaches from not drinking coffee on time 😄

I don't drink coffee, but I can down a 2 liter of Coca-Cola in an hour to myself. I've been drinking pop since I was a kid, so it's been on and off of quitting. I've noticed lately that my anxiety is getting worse and I'm thinking it's the caffeine in the Coke. When I don't drink for three days, though my headaches are so bad, that I could have an anxiety attack. I do think it's best if I quit all caffeine, so my anxiety levels can slow down. So I'm pushing through.

Quit many times and yes it is crazy hard to do!! This time I am taking a 1, 000mcg of chromium picolinate!!!! It’s been helping me w my cravings as well as balance my moods out.

I've tried these. it doesn't cut it when I have this nasty skull hurting headache.
this headache is beyond bad. can't even think straight it hurts so much.
if I'm off the caffeine the headache continues until I can't stand it anymore and have some coffee and it goes away within an hour.
quitting smoking (13 years now) was easier than this and it didn't conjure excruciating physical pain.

heres a good tip. lets say you drink 3 cups a of coffee a day. the next day, you drink
2 1/2 cups. keep lowering the amount of caffeine you drink each day. if this works for you, thumb it up so it will stay at the top and help others.
