Kombokan (KOMbat, BOKsing and tadyaKAN) was founded in 2009 in Melbourne Australia as a backyard self-defense "club" with a handful of dedicated friends who came from various martial arts background. Kombokan is a street-orientated and unstructured self-defence philosophy that shares and teaches very simple yet practical fighting principles, techniques and applications. We have taught in martial arts schools and gyms and are proud to have demonstrated our skills in public having also trained amateurs and professionals, security and law enforcers finally finding its home in West Footscray under the banner of Foenix Training. Kombokan was also a proud member of the Martial Arts Australia.
