Regular dips always hurt my shoulders but ring dips are completely painless. And the chest pump is crazy

I think dips and ring dips are the best upper body push builder period. Combined with pull-ups, you could get some amazing mass gains.

ring dips probably made the biggest difference in my physique. you can milk bodyweight on them for so long as well, especially if you go wide on the way down, almost like a fly press.

Always the best advice from here. I been wanting rings for a long time for pushups, but i will definitely jump into dips aswell. I just finally need to finish the home ring setup. 💪💪

It's actually super rare to see anyone using such strict form on any compound movement. That's how I do pretty much all my movements - slow eccentric and pause at the bottom. Forces you to use significantly less weight but IMO it's much safer while being just as effective or arguably more effective than pumping out quick reps like most people do. Also, 10-20 rep sets on everything. More gains (or at least the same gains) + lower injury risk at the same time

You're absolutely right about ring dips being the solution to shoulder pain. I literally refused to do dips for so long because doing them on bars hurt so much, so I learned the ring dip and I never went back to bar dips since.

Exactly! I get shoulder and sternum pain with normal ring handles but last week I tried then with rings and got humbled with only 8 reps and my pecs were destroyed with 3 sets without any pain or discomfort whatsoever
