Oh, and why would that It is called "calories". Yes, folks You lose weight because your calories are lower than your needs. Cheese is extremely dense in calories and it is easy to increase your calories by 500 in a blink.

And I am a Medical Doctor as well as PhD research scientist specialising in Diabetes and Eating Disorders.

Thank you very much. Ive been keto since april this year. I was 490ish when i started. Im now down to 398. My weight loss had slowed to a crawl.
I happened across this vid about a week and a half ago. I was eating cheese, heavy cream like it was my cut i almost all out except for a bit of ccream in my coffee after lost 6lbs in the last week and a half. Omad as well

I did an experiment a couple years ago and dropped cheese from my diet (love cheese) and dropped 6 pounds in a month. Didn't do anything else different. What you're saying is true.

Dude, THANK YOU! When i typed in 'Carnivore weight gain', I got tons of great info but not 'The Answer'. I had a feeling it was the cheese, as i added various cheeses to help kick the sugar addiction(it worked) but then my weightloss stalled! Now i know what to do till I reach my goal weight. Thanks a Bunch!

At 10:48 I said “twice the fat calories to the protein calories”

I just joined your facebook group after listening to Kellys interview with Amber and Stephanie. I was stalled for a month. The last 7 days eating high fat, I lost 5 lbs. My fats are up over 200g (around 250) and protein down to 60g with 3 meals a day (I average around 90% fat) my ketones are FINALLY starting to increase... my bs is higher than its been but I know I need to give it time. Im glad you mentioned that in the video

This is great advice and mirrors exactly what I’m doing. First 10 weeks carnivore I included cheese, heavy cream etc, LOTS of protein and way seemed like a lot of fat. Salt only for seasoning too. No weight loss (don’t have heaps to lose) but I feel i re-nourished myself so much, it was a great start.
Now I’m just over a week in to 80/20 and chose to go no cheese/cream at the same time. Will def go jump into your group!

When I was ketovore, ten yrs ago, I went from a flabby 220 pounds ( 5"8 tall )
To basic training weight of 140!
54 yrs old and doing more pullups than I did at 18 in boot camp.
Injuries sidelined me and I was merely gluten-free.
64 now starting again.

I have totally found this to be true for me as well! I tried raw milk for a bit and not only could I not stop drinking it but I gained 8lbs!!! And mine also didn’t come right off either.

Perfect timing. I just asked on Kelly’s vid about the feta & goat cheese. What if you don’t like either, you just answered the question. BTW after a few weeks of 80/20 she did lose 5 lbs.

Sadly, I know. You know you’re a carnivore when you “cheat” with cheese lol. Cheese spikes my anxiety and causes me to gain weight. :(

I went out and bought some Feta and another Greek cheese 3 weeks ago.. Yep. Gained weight/weight stalled for 3 weeks. It was a good experiment. I learned.

The question of whether it's better to intermittent fast or doing the small meals is a question I had for so long, and I couldn't find an answer in hard research. I decided to give this a try, and I've been pretty happy with the results so far. Most of my numbers are more consistent and more where I want to see them eating the small meals multiple times thru the day. What has impressed me most, though, is that if I have overeaten or had a cheat day, it typically takes me about 5 days being strict before my blood sugar & ketones come back where I like having them. But with this, it only took a day or two. That by itself tells me it works, and it works faster than what I had been doing. I'm mainly only worried about my bloods tho. I'm no longer concerned about fat loss. I'd like to lose some more fat, but it's not a priority for me anymore.
