My Quick Review - States Crate Subscription - States Place

This is a quick review of States Crate monthly subscription.

This box cost $34.99 a month.
You get four hand pick preowned or some times new pieces of clothing. You can choose which sized for you box you would like. Examples: Size small box, size large box. ect... You also have a time frame in the month to pick your pieces if you want, or you can have them pick random pieces. You don't get to choose a particular print, or color. At the moment there are no petite choices when picking your four pieces out.

Everything in this video is paid for with my own money. These are my thoughts and my personal experience with the subscription.

I hadn't been paying too much attention to States Crates, she seemed a little desperate to keep it going every-time I watched one of her videos and she talked about it. I am happy I didn't waste any money on that crap. I don't think I would have trusted the crates given what I've seen in her videos in general, she makes comments about never washing anything, never doing repairs when needed. I know she sources at bins and I shop there for my ebay store as well, I don't sell anything from the bins without washing, the smell in the building is gross, and the clothes are always damp, and musty. We live in the Pacific North West, it rains all year and the clothes are sometimes kept outside or just under an overhang until they are brought into the store. All of that said, I did go looking at her cratejoy reviews since this has all kind of exploded on her. I wanted to see if I could do the signup process just to see if she was fixing the bugs but I wasn't going to put my credit card info in or anything. Also she kept saying they were full and she had wait lists, I wanted to see if she was still full. I couldn't click through anything on the site going through her link. It was essentially a dead link once you clicked past the first page to begin the selection. I went to crate joy directly and tried to find her. States Place is not found on Crate Joy. You just get an error message, her states crates has apparently folded, and is now closed. If you run a good business with integrity you can succeed, if you run a scam it will catch up to you eventually.

Oh wow. I would never send these things out to a paying subscriber. Those pants ... well the pants and the flower shirt .... just made me cringe. What a ripoff.

I've now watched 3 NS unboxings. All were disappointed. You know you can do way better on your own at Ross or TJMaxx etc
