One thing I learned when trying to straighten hair: It really helps to turn on the straightener

You need to:
-turn it on!
-Apply heat protectant and brush it through
-Use a small amount of hair at a time and section it (the thicker your hair is the smaller the section should be)
-Use a high setting and go over the strands once (not fast so that it tugs on the delicate hair but not too slow so that it causes damage, just make sure that it is consistent). If you have rlly thick hair maybe do it twice on a lower setting.

I have both, the brush is much slower (you have to go over your hair a lot more or keep it on longer) and it doesn't get rid of frizz as much as a straightener. For me, I have very light weighed hair (if I brush it, it stands in the air) and if I use the brush, it gets straight but still very frizzy and voluminous. If I use the straightener, I can get my hair so straight it falls right on my shoulders and is shiny

i always use a heated hair brush cause 1) it straightens your hair better and 2) there is not much heat damage as it is in a normal straightener

I have both!I notice my hair looks a bit more damaged with a normal one and i burn myself a lot, but when using the brush one i don't burn myself and it doesn't look as damaged, i also notice the hairbrush one heats up in only 4-5 mins!
