I was a noob back in the day in the 90s. I thought I was so cool when I lowered my car. Hit a bump and destroyed my whole exhaust system.

Step 1: live in a country that isn't known for bumps.

When I lowered my car, I was expecting a lot of things to break but the one thing I didn’t expect was having both my fender linings and my engine splash cover to fall off on the interstate😂. Its scared the shit out of me while I was going 90 on the interstate

There is no such thing as 5 things before lowering your car. You lower it and dont talk about it. Say the truth Alex.

Do a video on more in-depth suspension components. Not just lowering items. I’d like to see a video on roll centre adjustment, anti lift kits, adjust bushes for raised and lowered vehicles.

In my 350Z, I think the only lowering I'll do is the rear just to level the car's height. Just the spring mount mod.

Lowering will bring tie rods, axles, endlinks at weird angles. Most sport cars have adjustable arms, if yours doesnt you will need other control arms for wheel alignment. Lowering changes dynamic weight movement front to rear, to low rear for example might give push after apex turn. The beauty of car suspension tuning 😋

Just adding my two cents if you're using lowering springs instead of coilovers the struts and shocks you use should be taken into consideration, twintube vs monotube.

stanced 7er from Romania yasss

having a stanced car here it is something. the crappy roads and giant potholes can ruin even a standard car with high ground clearance. that’s why i think a lot of carguys from here just installed an airlift kit or something similar so they won’t “kill” their car

I bought a lowered 350z after driving a old pick up truck for 5 years and let me tell you, it such a huge change. Now im scared of pot holes and curbs lol.

Slamming your vehicle definitely is a lifestyle. And you WILL inevitably ruin/break things over time. But I'll be damned if it isn't addicting. Stanced my first vehicle over 10 years ago and still going since. Thought it'd be a fad like altezza tails and indiglo gauges...but it's straight up heroin.

People commonly associate springs with "cheap" but they do have their benefits. They are especially nice if you winter drive your car. They won't seize and you don't need to deal with regularly cleaning your struts like coilovers.

I cringe when I see cambered wheels, rather be flushed and offset..
