Since covid my balcony become my garden. I grew tomatoes, cucumber, radish, courgette, squash, potatoes, spinach, a tons of salad. This year I add watermelon and melon, with flowers dahlia and mint. This journey helped me to reduce my stress, to learn patience, to never give up and that a failure is a lesson not a bad thing.😊 I hope God will give me my house soon to enjoy it more. I know it’s not for everyone, but for many of us we were not meant to live like a sardine in a cubicle in a big no nature city. For anyone that isn’t lucky enough to have a garden or balcony, I recommend window boxes – I have two self-watering ones, where they have a reservoir underneath, and even though they’re not big, you’d be surprised what you can grow in them! And they end up like a little garden with insects and everything. Add a couple of potted herbs on the windowsill inside, and you have your own mini kitchen garden :)
