Brilliantly inspirational as usual! You have changed my entire perspective on how to garden. I used to think I had to clear everything to bare ground like a disced farmer’s field before planting. Now I leave as much dead material as possible-roots and top growth right there and plant into it just as you showed and narrated. Thank you for your great teaching and labor saving methods! I hope to one day be a successful gardener.

I love it, I find your videos so inspirational. I'm going to do more cover cropping when the fall rains come in 9b California

Timely, I was just thinking of using an oats, peas, vetch, crimson clover mix for the deep compost mulch beds in my front yard; they need a boost and mulch. kinda wish I hadn’t bought all this compost and moved all these chips, i feel as if I just raised my front yard 4in. Yes its pretty noice under the chips. I still need mulch on top of the compost or else it gets too hot and dry. Definitely makes it real hard to move your beds around.

Definetly will rework the Cover cropping for my garden spots in the fall. Set some places for my brassicas and the reat can be cover cropped. Cover crops are so essential and theres so many combonations of it too.

What cover crops do you use? Can you share where to get them from?

I’d be interested to know what your typical day/week looks like please? We are about to buy a larger block and are also homeschooling our kids… thank you

I am so excited to try this! I've been incorporating no-dig methods this year. I have bind weed in my garden. It's very invasive and hard to get rid of. Any advice??

Have you had to deal with goatheads (aka puncturevine) on your property? Any tips besides the typical recommendation of a propane torch (doesn't work--takes forever and is very expensive).

What are the different plants you use?

What kind of cover crop would you recommend for a beginner to cover crops? Home gardener here, Zone 7a high arid desert with heavy clay soil.

May I ask which cover crop you prefer? I live in the same areas as you, and with the success you’ve had I figure I might as well try that.
