always install linux on UEFI firmware mode because its newer then BIOS how to?

**Right click vm -> Settings... -> Options -> Advanced -> set Firmware type to UEFI**

don't forget to enable stretch mode in 3d acceleration settings in vmware.

Note : sound would not work,
He didn't install alsa stuff.
Or anything like pipewire or pulseaudio.

Open vm tools dont work on mine but the install was fine. I just cant get vm tools to work.

Hello, I was trying to install arch following the video. And while installing grub I get an error saying "error:cannot find EFI directory.". I did google for solutions but no help 😅. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance
