Fruit makes me crave foods all day long. I can only handle a small amount of berries or a green apple from time to time. I prefer a low sugar plant based diet. I also don't do well with sweet potatoes or sweet squashes. I stick with veggies, black rice, quinoa. I do fine with white potatoes.

Eating fruit after a vegetable meal is a digestive disaster for me personally. I have to eat fruit first, let it digest, then eat any vegetables and wait a few hours after a vegetable meal to then eat fruit again, if I want. Never immediately after.

I agree 100% that we should eat a variety of fruits and vegetables but 1 to 2 pieces of fruit per day sounds limiting on the fruit scale.

I thrive off fruit all day. Just don’t combine fruit with fats or starches. Digestive time is very important. I eat melons alone because they take the least amount of digest time. Food combination is very important. Fruit and fruit veggies are life.

This summer I have been eating 4 to 8 peaches per day.
In winter I eat 4 to 6 apples before meal. During the whole year I work night shift, so to not fall asleep I always have with me home made 3 banana smoothey. Am I doing wrong ?.

Oh no I cannot agree with that doc. Sorry, if I eat fruit after a meal I throw up. Been there, tried that, can only confirm. Only for breakfast, on an empty stomach,

Few would disagree with the science supporting the idea of including vegetables in our diet but what peer reviewed literature does he have supporting the claim that the body needs the amount of phytochemicals derived from a vegetable based diet?

Are beans and soybeans only thing that vegan eats? Beans are one of the most disgusting food on planet, because of that people must add lot of unhealthy spaices, can’t imagine this guy hunting in forest and supporting his family 😅
