Removing Fire Hazards and Eye-Sores from my project 300zx

Having any of my project cars catch fire is a worst nightmare situation, so I decided to eliminate all possibilities of its occurrence on this Nissan 300zx z32. Cops seem to love pulling me over, so I remove anything that could increase my chances of getting pulled over.

My hat is off to you for putting the miles on the cluster and keeping it accurate. People aren't honest like that anymore.

i'm literally using these wire connectors every day at work as a mechanic. They are so usefull to fix wires or do harness stuff in general

Its nice to see a youtuber take sponsors that actually help majority of their fans instead of a straight cash grab :)

The radio goes in the top slot, bottom one is for the center bose speaker.

The phrase on the gas cap is french. My only guess would be that because parts of Canada like Quebec speak French so maybe its a North American market thing. Id have to confirm by looking at the jdm, aus, and euro market versions.

Great stuff man👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I love this man; he is a big inspiration and now I want to work on cars more often, his voice isn't loud or obnoxious, I like learning from your videos, and I truly enjoy your content and whenever I see a new video I have to watch it and sometimes I wish there was more. Definitely my favorite Youtuber!

Oh fire hazards. I really need to Cary an extinguisher in all my cars. Drove with a fuel loop gasket leak for a week before I saw it.

I'm absolutely loving all these uploads. My wife and I still binge watch every morning.

Do you remember million mile joe? The dude with the cb accord that made it over a million miles. He’s from Maine like me. It’s a pretty cool story, Honda took his accord into a museum and gave him a brand spanking new accord for that cb accord with over a million miles.

11:05 - Figured I'd note as someone with further electrical experience, those twist-on connectors themselves aren't bad, it's usually just the idiots using them for everything that are. They only work just as intended with thicker solid core copper wires, like what's used in the walls of a home for connecting lightswitches/electrical outlets, most automotive applications opt for stranded wire because many strands conduct better than one solid core line - and of course, the twist-on connector is meant for solid core, not stranded wire.

5:44 I love a good black wheel, they usually have to be a 1 piece wheel or if its a multi piece the lips have to be polished (I personally hate "murdered" out 3 piece wheels). I don't see a lot of good black wheels around where im from because most are low quality plasti dip or spray paint and they look bad regardless of what you do. I plan on going with some used wheels and get them powder coated but thats after the laundry list of maintenance, fixing, and performance things i want to do

Wd40 works really well on dip, you let it sit and it gets behind the dip and you can just blast it off with a pressure washer. That's what I did on some wheels I bought.

car is finally taking shape, especially with those green plate lights gone (although it's kinda sad since they were funny). and those speakers sound really nice for stock ones, even though the video

also, that sticker in the gas door is "unleaded fuel" in french. a lot of cars have this. more often it'll say "essence sans plomb suelement" instead
(and that transition at 26:36 was the cleanest one on the channel, i had to replay it a few times)

A lot of people argue that these heatshrinks don't have enough solder to make proper connections, and I do think that's a valid point, but I don't see anything wrong with using them for low amp applications where you already run thin wires, like activating relays or maybe signal wires. The glue inside it is a nice touch too. But you do need to be careful with heat as these heatshrinks can melt, or frayed wire pieces can pierce through the heatshrink. Then again I did use them a lot when working inside my car since it's more convenient than using extensions and waiting for iron to heat up - especially when weather outside is not ideal

Only discovered your channel about a week ago, and I've watched about 30 of your videos already. Great channel, I've got a Nissan Silvia S14a myself, and love how you explain how and why you do each repair, modification or change to your cars. Keep up the excellent work buddy, you've definitely earned a sub from me 🙂

"super sans plomb seulement"
inside the gas lid is a translation in french of
"premium unleaded fuel only" :)

RADIO goes on top. Lower is usually a pocket but if it had the option, it was a speaker.

Move your ground on your radio to the floor or a metal bracket, i always have to do that with nissans for some reason with aftermarket radios
