Black Myth Wukong - Five Element Cart Questline - Chapter 5 Secret Area & Rusty-Gold Cart Boss

Black Myth: Wukong Chapter 5 Secret Area requires solving the Five Element Carts questline given by the Pale-Axe Stalwart Ox NPC.

The questline is still doable after the story by traveling back to chapter 5. The first 3 element carts are all story related and unmissable.

1 - Defeat Pale-Axe Stalwart - 0:00
2 - Talk to Pale-Axe Stalwart at Cliff - 2:02
3 - Talk to Pale-Axe Stalwart at Emerald Hall - 3:12
4 - Talk to Cart in Lava Lake - 4:31
5 - Defeat Rusty-Gold Cart Boss - 6:49
6 - Enter Secret Area through Frozen Gate - 9:44

FOR THE GUYS THAT THINK THIS IS MISSABLE, It's a yes and no, so basically you can miss the horse quest for the string cart, so if YOU DIDN'T get his quest and skipped him, you CAN just SKIP the dead cart and just do the others with the AXE dude quest, simple as that, the secret area is NOT missable, just the horse quest. Hope this helps.

I cant believe the horse has been killed by that thing and his souls trapped in it forever I cant fathom a worst fate for him than this.

That cart that you pull the string is actually tied to the horses side quest, you just have to speak to him every chapter at his locations than beat main boss in chapter five and go pull his strings and you will get his transformation

So heres the thing, i think it was giving me an option when to pull the crate when i only spoke to the npc twice, but then when i got to the emerald hall, spoke to the npc, the option is now gone to interact with the cart as i was following your guide.

Now that i think about it; you kill the horse when fighting the boss at the emerald hall. Which is probably why the options disappears..

God im so mad i had 100% up till this point and made sure to interact with him each time. I think u should adjust the guide

for some reason i literally cant do step 2 i beat bronze cart but it keepts doing the same dialogue

You can skip step 3 here, it’s related to another quest and not part of the cart quest.

PSA don’t use poison in the secret area fight as the game will get softlocked with both at 0 hp and not dead.
Reloading and not using poison in the fight will fix it

With step 4 I remembered pulling that string before any of this quest stuff, don't remember any voice lines then so if anyone else is missing the string they probably came across it and pulled it earlier too. Apparently doesn't matter though?
