Being taller is harder on the knees whilst learning a new exercise. So good you draw attention to this point for knee protection.

This made me cry I did like 5 or six and was hyperventilating.. will keep practicing every day. Reaching for 10 later and increase with time .❤

You just changed my life. I do treadmill and stair master in the gym and haven't been doing squats as much, but this I can do at home on my Yoga mat!!! All I need now is a good arm work out. I like those squat jumps too. This is going to be a good combo with it

Yes I am one of those taller older people with compromised knees from too many sports. I modified the exercise by sitting on the first step of my stairway and pushing myself up without hands or lunging forward for momentum. Thanks it’s the first exercise that doesn’t make my knees sore the next day.

I’ve already had two knee replacements before I was 57, and this was an eye opener. I had been doing plies (ballet squats) and lunges for years. I like this alternative.

I started going to the gym and I never had knee pain in my life until a personal trainer started to train me and have me do squats and wall sits. Now my knee pain won’t go away.
