These video game endings may not be completely secret, but the act of getting to the point of seeing them is nearly impossible. Here are some wild examples of rare, lesser-seen game endings.

Just a quick additional thing about #2. Yeah, Embrace the Void is in and of itself an insane challenge, but there's actually an ALTERNATE version of this same ending which is even HARDER to get (there's no achievement tied to this alternate version, which is why it probably didn't get mentioned):

There's a notoriously difficult sidequest in Hollow Knight called the "delicate flower" quest, which tasks you with carrying the titular delicate flower from one end of the map to the other without fast traveling and without taking a single point of damage. Once you complete this side quest you unlock additional flowers that you can then gift to certain NPCs (these flowers inherit the "do not get hit or the flower is destroyed" attribute).

If you complete this side quest and then carry one of these flowers to the God Seeker (who acts as the entrance to Godhome where the Pantheons are) and gift it to her, and THEN earn the Embrace the Void ending you get an alternate version called the "Delicate Flower" ending that starts out the same as Embrace the Void but then shifts dramatically and completely changes the final outcome of that ending. It's weird.

My favorite hard to get ending is in the lost world Jurassic Park for the Ps1. The game is so insanely hard, it's like an arcade game. If you manage to beat the game including this insane boss fight with 2 t-rex's on a tilting boat you get to be greeted by a live action ending featuring Jeff Goldbloom where he congratulates you for beating the game then tells you to go outside and touch grass.

The guy had to write a program for the ending and the computer dropped down to 10fps trying to keep up. Nobody is getting that legitimately

For the hollow knight embrace the void ending, there is a secret variant to that where you need to take a flower all the way across the map without getting hit, and give it to the godseeker, and then beat the last pantheon.

Hollow Knight will absolutely drive you crazy. It gets so damn hard and is so time consuming that I doubt anyone in a relationship will come out of the game still in a relationship. Scratch that, your new relationship is now with the hollow knight. This game is an obsession, an addiction, a curse. Only the worthy shall attempt the path of pain. Good luck on your travels little shadow.
