I got the original good ending in Metro 2033, but I didn't know there were multiple endings back then so I was confused when the second game started off different, becuase the good ending means you don't nuke the dark ones. So colour me surprised when the start of the second game talks about how you nuke the dark ones...

For the ME stuff, there are a total of 32 named and listed crew/team members that have to die across 3 games for this to actually happen. You'd legitimately have to map out almost every single move you need to make across all 3 games in order to pull it off. It's virtually impossible to do by accident.

One of the best - almost impossible endings to find is in Detroit Become Human. The “all robots die” before the revolution starts ending took 2 months to find

I think the Fallen London secret ending is absolutely brilliant. In return for the answer to the most elusive secret in the game, you literally have to render your character unplayable. It's a great idea if you have already done and seen everything else in the game.

I got the good ending for Metro 2033 my first time playing and streamed it, too. I didn't even know there was more than one ending, but the background stuff and lore enthralled me, so I WANTED to listen to every piece of dialogue and talk with people more than once.

Ayyy love seeing someone talking about Fallen London. I'm actually a Seeker, I followed that quest to it's devastating end, and took a year and a half to do it. There's 3 endings, and I picked the "What is due" one. From an actual gameplay standpoint it wasn't worth it. I grinded for top tier items only to immediately sacrifice them, messed up my character enough that she got permanent debuffs, and none of that mattered because you loose your character Permanently. But from a story perspective? Absolutely worth it. I'll be thinking about the story and characters for the rest of my life, and will always be proud of being one of the few who made it all the way through.
Also everyone who's a Seeker tend to be very protective of the whole thing, but like to drop hints like crazy about the storyline. And try to convince others to do it while simultaneously warning them.

The Stanley Parable Art ending can be achieved just by using the console during the baby game. There's a Steam guide that explains more. Achieve it in minutes!

I love the secret "ending" to Pillars of Eternity where the save data let you start Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire with a HILARIOUS back story where you're just a walking disaster and the gods troll you the whole time because of how awful their "chosen one" is lol.

The irony is that because people probably Google “how to get the best ending” for sekiro, the shura ending, which is the “easiest” has a smaller percentage of people who have completed it, at least on PS I think it’s like 17% return and 15% shura

Dont think it's super rare but the ending in Dark Souls 3 where you summon the firekeeper, there is a moment in the cutscene when you can attack her and get a different ending. Its pretty brutal because the firekeeper is so kind & nice throughout the game and the cutscene then shows your character killing her. There is no achievement for this ending and it's pretty easy to do.

I thought the sekiro ending was pretty easy to get, It's one of the very few games that i actually completed more than once to get the multiple endings, Yeah it does require a guide but the things you do for the ending actually make sense once you stop to think about it, I think on my original playthrough i only missed like 1-2 steps. I appreciate there being good endings like that where the devs silently applaud you for actually paying attention to the story and what's going on around you. I think a lot of games just hand it over on a silver platter with obvious moral choices and easy to manipulate moral systems which kind of ruins the idea of trying to make the right choices in the first place.

I did that super long ending my first play through of Sekiro. Unbelievably fulfilling, it felt like I truly did everything

I'm kind of crushed that you brought up the Fallen London thing because I'd never heard of it. Tried to figure out more about it and it is insanely obscure. So now I want to play it just to understand something that is meant to be frustrating.

The ending videogame was a really good fit for this list. A *1 in 10, 000, 000 (10 million) chance is definitely a rare ending* 😳😮🙌🔥

I got that Sekiro ending on my first playthrough almost without a guide. I got lost in one point and looked it up and saw that I was like 2 steps away from getting it

I did NOT expect Seeking Mr. Eaten to show up in a gameranx video! Great choice for this list!

Dragon Homecoming was my first ending in Sekiro. I loved exploring and being an absolute vengeful beast on the specific enemies for this ending.
