Assassin’s Creed II’s ending is definitely mind blowing to me. Seeing Minerva talk to Ezio with Desmond (you the player) observing via the animus just to find out that Minerva used Ezio as a means to communicate to Desmond (essentially talking to you the player) about their history and an impending global catastrophe was a definite WTF moment right there.

Spec Ops the Line ending threw me completely off guard. I never thought a linear shooter could play with my emotions that good and Shutter Island type ending. Mind Blown🤩

Soma's ending is absolutely insane. An ending that just makes you go "damn"

There's this old PS1 game called Vagrant Story where you hunt down a mysterious cult leader with supernatural powers. The twist is that it later turns out that the reason why he lures you deeper and deeper into a cursed city and sends boss after boss for you to fight is that he was preparing you to be his successor and he wants to transfer his dark powers to you so that it will not to fall into the hands of evil men.

SOMA really was a hidden gem i was blown away playing it and the end was epic 👍🏻

Shadow of the colossus ending will live in me forever. What a story that was. Same with Bioshock infinite. Just a rollercoaster and all revelations coming forward

SOMA’s concept was amazingly well executed. And “losing the coin toss” almost rings as poetic as the line from Ajin (anime), where “if someone looked like you, and had all your memories, thoughts and feelings, would it be ok for you to die if they live?”

I was late to the party and just played and completed Soma for the first time about a month ago. Man, it did not disappoint. In terms of thought-provoking narratives with deep philosophical implications, it really doesn't get much better than that game. The devs really knocked it out of the park. Reminded me of an episode of the Twilight Zone (best series of all time) and the ending left me feeling satisfied yet very uneasy. Definitely a must play title.

I love how much Gameranx gives Spec Ops : The Line so much Love... This game gets mentioned in so many videos. This game is a hidden gem!!

They covered the transporter thing a few times in TNG; you get things like Rikers clone, and a character with a phobia of transporters who travels by shuttle!

I'm so happy SOMA got a mention. I remember when I did beat this game for the first time, I was in total shock by the ending twist. Really one of the more thought provoking game I ever played.

The Hellblade ending, along with that song was an emotional Tyson punch. Also shout-out to Haven : Call of the King.... Lil PS2 gem that had an outrageous ending!

The first S.T.A.L.K.E.R game's ending was just epic ! Coming to the plant with a looming nuclear apolcalypse, the meteor and the revelation of the monolith. Still get chills 13 years later !

soma and silent hill 2 are my top two favorite gaming experiences of all time.

SOMA ending really made me sat for half an hour to contemplating what had just happened and try to summarize while re-understanding the entire story.
The thought of that ending really sent shiver to my spine, make you question what is humanity again..

I thought Outer Wilds had a really crazy ending too! The sudden realization of what’s about to happen and the implications is unmatched. Felt like it was a great payoff to the journey you made

Bioshock infinite is what we call G.O.A.T of the Bioshock franchise it was a very well balanced game I enjoyed it so much

Prey (2016) had an ending that blew me away completely. It maybe wasn't very original and it wasn't something that has never been done before, but it's so unexpected it caught me offguard. It's also well done and quite well reflects player choices and actions throughout the game
