You can use it to search for new people with the same tags. These can be found under the micro symbol of the magnifying glass

The tags are used to make it so when you squad fill it matches your tags so you play with the people that match your tags

There’s also a tab where you can see random peoples tags that are the EXACT same as yourself so you can make new friends and you can invite them even when your not friends it’s very cool!

This needs to be a feature for all future multiplayer games it would make it easier to find people to help you do things in multiplayer games like challenges to unlock certain things for other games

This is pretty cool. It's not as in depth as Xbox where you can choose a lot more tags but I'm sure they are going to constantly update this. Would like an 18+ or 21+ or "old gamers" ( people like us Tabor).

Now just add tags from when each player has started playing, make old battlepass cosmetics have a comeback and there you go.
New players enjoy new cosmetics and older players can brag that they are "OG".
It's just good business.
