IPS vs VA Monitors For Gaming! 👀

IPS for me anyday. The black smearing of VA's just isn't for me, for gaming I absolutely despise it.

i currently cant decide on getting one of this two exact monitors, is the va smearing very noticeable here? or the colors and black accuracy make the ips that much worse?

If the VA has better tracking and just a bit faster resonse times, why lean more towards IPS? Was that little of black smearing even actually noticeable in the games played?

Isn't VA contrast ratio in colors and deep black worth considering in solo games where smearing should almost be inexistant ?

Testing on overclock mode for response time is seriously stupid. Yes you havr 1 pixxel with 1 ms response time but the entire screen has massive overshoot.

Might wanna eq out the high end cuz it kinda hertz my ears lol. Good video tho. Been using a ViewSonic 1080p 75hz TN panel for about 5 years as my first monitor. Just bought a 1440p 165hz 27" from dell so im excited ehen it arrives.

I bought a AOC VA Monitor and returned it after a day. If you come from a IPS, which I did, the black smearing is just unbearable and makes gaming and scolling websites no joy at all

VA is complet dog ****. Ghosting on that think is so annoying that its impossible to play anythink with dark areas
