For the dummies - Ghosting means slight refresh delay. Basically the monitor needs extra bit of time to process changes, leading to ghost-like effect on some models and textures, especially during rapid movements.

Ultrawide oled here. Never going back for anything gaming related if i can help it.

Even terraria looks dope as fuck when the black parts looks like the screen is off and u stand there with a torch in the middle.

Being a deep color and contrast freak, I always end up choosing VA.
When I'll have more money (laugh) or when OLED won't be as expensive (laugh harder), I might try one.
My secondary screen is a cheap IPS 'tho.

Now there are some HVA which have still the deeper blacks of a VA panel and not as much ghosting. They're quite good, for example the q27g3xmn has no noticeable smearing and near 0 ghosting, with a whopping ~4500:1 contrast (ips have ~1000:1).

I havent heard of an OLED monitor until recently. I just wonder if i can wait until the microLED becomes mainstream without all its development issues and limits right now. It certainly doesnt come with burn-ins that OLEDs tech have even though modern ones are incredibly less likely to occur these days.

When I saw reviews of OLED monitors saying "Once you go OLED, you won't go back", I was skeptical, but I ended up getting one.

They were right. OLED is beautiful and so amazingly smooth. Absolutely worth it

Fast- QD Hva from tcl. Their TCL 34R83Q and TCL 27R83U are disgustingly underrated. Their blurbuster results are crisp and their color gamut is MASSIVE. Plus they got 1152 mini led zones

VA is just ideal on a budget, the ghosting on mine isnt even noticeable

i have a mini led VA panel from AOC, the colors are just as good as my old IPS monitor and the contrast is amazing, no ghosting either even at 180hz
