I’m born again and a believer in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Grew up Catholic and went to catholic school but strayed away in my teen and twenties and truly grew close to the Lord 3 yrs ago after surrendering and having supernatural encounters with him. I’m am no longer Catholic mainly because I don’t like the extreme focus on the Virgin Mary or praying to statues, many Catholics say they don’t do that but every Catholic I was around did and kissed the stairs feet and I have seen pope do the same and I don’t think no pic or statue should get that much attention because it’s an object. I can’t imagine if I was in a room with someone and they were talking to my picture they were looking at instead of me. That is what I was doing praying in front of a statue instead of just praying in the spirit to the Holy Spirit who was present even if humans don’t see him. I will say that this Protestant is dead wrong and he knows it, maybe one uneducated Catholic told him they don’t believe in the Bible and he is assuming that is how all Catholics are or maybe he just pulled that claim out of nowhere to make new Christians reject Catholicism but if he truly God fearing than he should know that God does not like lies especially ones like this and he will will answer to spreading lies about his brothers and sisters in Christ. If you believe in the trinity and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for your sins and his resurrection than that is what matters to be saved, of course we are fruitful when we are saved because we are changed by the Holy Spirit but my point is that Christians need to stop tearing each other down and condemning one another because we are not enemies and we have a whole group of non believers against us and we need to unite as one. If any denomination or group is doing something that God does not like than he will deal with them himself but we need to stop arguing in comments about this and that. It’s a waste of time and breeds hate, resentment and anger. Each side has already heard all the things that people constantly repeat to one another and still worship how they want. In the end we need a strong front. Many will disagree but that’s how I feel.

What that man said in the video is an absolute lie from the pit of hell. Everyday of the week we offer Mass. Which means we read the Old Testament and New Testament every single day of the week, 365 days a year and we rotate the scripture readings in three year cycles. If you attend Mass you will have herd 90% of the Bible just showing up for Mass. Read it??? Son we put the Bible together and decided what books belong it. We know it, we love it and we brought to the world. The Word of God is a person. The person of Jesus the Christ. The Bible is the Holy Book that tells about the raising of the people of God for Him to foretell and bring forth His son out of these people to give His life for the sins of the world.

Actually one thing Protestants do not Agree is with the title Mediatrix (Female title for Mediator) given to Mary at the second Vatican Consul. You cannot say Jesus is Sole Mediator according to Scripture and then add one via Mary. Jesus even rebuked someone for praising Mary following an exorcism and corrected them saying "yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it."

Luke 11 Context:

Catholic here: yep, I read my Bible everyday. I see the Logos in the scriptures but most importantly the fulfillment of the Logos in the Real Presence of Our Lord in Body, Blood, Soul and Divitnity in the Eucharist. Why only read the Logos when you can unite to the fulness of it?
