At this point it’s too late to give water. Once the symptoms starts showing up, it’s a certain 100% death. Even under medical supervision and intensive care, you can’t save a person with symptoms. That’s why it’s important to get vaccinated with 24 hours period, otherwise your chances of survival is 0% after the 24 hours period. Also keep your distance from dogs and bats, especially in India.

Some people use induced coma. I generally scare. There are things as dumb rabies and sometime people with rabies don't even these type of symptoms.
