Lol stores do not purposefully leave clothes on the floor so you dont find a deal, anyone who works in a good retail location keeps stuff organized

Clearance racks aren't designed so you won't buy them. They house discontinued items the store likely won't carry anymore and are a way to make some profit before they are removed. If they aren't sold they are taken off the floor where no profit is made. Which doesn't benefit the store.

A trick of mine to make sure not to leave the store with items I don't need, are not only brining a list, but also I do a quick overview of the items in the cart before I place them on the conveyor belt. My gf is mostly to blame for the extra 1/3 items I take out leaving the nonessential extra items at the register
