1. Perk yourself: be ready within 15 minutes of waking up to go out the door and take a walk.
Starts a virtuous cycle.
2. Check yourself: most important thing to do today and an app called time out that pauses your screen every 25 minutes for self evaluation of progress.
3. Free yourself, stop work at 5thirty
4.treat yourself. Use smaller bowls and spoons, and make it harder to get seconds. Makes portion control more enjoyable.

Thank you for these tips! I got up this morning, ate breakfast, found a notebook, walked to a quiet place, took pictures of nature and drew!!!! I love that you took the pressure off by saying the activity doesn't matter, getting out and about matters. I want this to be my new routine.

Halfway through the video and it seems you are showing my life nowadays!! This is so relatable especially since working from home has completely changed my life. I have put on weight, have no social circle, I hardly go out, I am stressed, anxious, irritated, and emotional most of the time, and I don't enjoy things that I used to enjoy before. Hope to get some pointers out of your video to implement in my life.

These small habits make much of a difference. For me it means I have to weigh myself the first thing after waking up and going to bathroom. No excuses, whatsoever! The exact number on the scale does not matter, but the habit of doing it does. - Then I need my coffee, and then I need to go out.... for a walk, mostly. No eating before outing. This start of a day works for me.

I love the smaller bowls! Another things I could add to the 4th habit it to chew 15 times before swallowing. My nurtritionist taught me this tip and said that it will help my brain think that I'm getting full on the small portion I'm eating!

Subscribed! I really like the fact that you do understand and take into account the trials and errors or "struggle" part of internalizing these healthy habits. For me, such understanding motivates me to give it a shot rather than thinking 'oh there goes again, an influencer merely laying out habits to success'.

Thanks for this. I love how you honestly showed that each of these habits was not a cure-all and how you can slide back into the same bad habits. Planning the fun stuff/ me-time in the morning is a great tip for skipping the snooze button and going to bed early! I can definitely relate to the chaos of the work day, haha. The "clean your plate" guilt trip is how I lost sense of when to stop eating in the first place - never gonna demand that of anyone. The designated bowls for certain food groups and putting away the food containers/ cleaning before eating are also great ideas!
