Just how good is Fernando Tatis Jr.?

Fernando Tatis Jr. is reportedly getting a 14-year, $340 million extension from the Padres. So just how good is the young shortstop compared to baseball's other young studs?

Tatis is a beast but those numbers are over 2 half seasons, which skew them a bit. As of now this is a win for Tatis. 8-10 years from now it could be a big win for the Padres.

Bigger market teams have tainted stats because of lineup protection. If these guys batted for shitty teams with stagnant lineups they would be singled out and dealt with.
