There was a 60 Minutes story on this like 10 years ago. It's based on actual research.

A small percent of first born males will be gay. It's not said to be 0% so not sure why commenters are so confused.

I believe each subsequent boy has twice the possibility of the previous boy as being gay.

But here's the weird stat which has something to do with various parts of the brain involved.

If the boy is left handed, his possibility of being gay is the same as the first born male even if he's the 5th born male or whatever number.

Homosexual genes induced by previous pregnancies by the contamination of the womb with previous secretion of hormones in previous pregnancies? Pregnancies tanking place years prior? Can we recognize all those hormones are active and present in women on daily basis. Also can we recognize the ability of the body of cleansing itself after pregnancy? Who did the study? Was it paid by an unbiased source? How many people were involved in the study and for how long was the study done? Where can this study be found? How conclusive this really is?

This is true due to the mother's body develops antibodies to the male fetus as a foreign body .. With a woman having male children in a short time span those antibodies build up to attack the fetus .. To defend itself the fetus delays producing testosterone which is when the fetus develops female brain characteristics .. When the fetus begins producing testosterone it begins developing as male again .. This research was published several years ago .. I don't know if he did the study or is just referencing it here

So does that mean that in the past when each woman had a lot more children, there would have been more homosexuality? So in places like Ireland with historically anti-contraception beliefs the chances of having a homosexual child would be greater? Also, typically poorer socio-economic families have more children - so that would mean there should be a correlation between both religious background and socio-economic status and male homosexuality?? Also, this implies that male homosexuality is a result of gestational factors however female homosexuality isn't. So many questions?
