Doc, years ago when I was at the peak of my health anxiety (hypochondria), I used to watch your videos all the time. They really helped me put things and my symptoms into perspective, I really appreciate your time and efforts used in explaining these videos. I don’t run back and forth to emergency rooms anymore. It’s been a couple years since I came to the conclusion that I wasn’t dying. But I came to search these exact beats, saw your video first, and clicked immediately. They’re really annoying, and happen constantly. But apparently super common. Thanks again!

PVC's for 30+ yrs. Still here lol. Early beats, late beats, sometimes quick beats. Sounds like Morse code. Fainted only twice but just a few seconds when heart felt like it actually flipped. Only once heard beats that sounded like horse hooves on a road in my head.
Started 4 months after giving birth. Had a DVT day after birth.
Severe flu 3 months after giving birth. Then following month severe panic attacks. PVC's followed by rapid pulse over 220 & can't breathe. Finally 4 yrs later diagnosed with MVP. Not a click but doc said a splitting sound. Valve worked well till it didn't. Why was hard to diagnose. Sleep apnea since an infant. Menopause actually helped calm heart down. No more panic attacks & PVCs not often. Found birth family in 92. Dad & 2 sisters had MVP. Dad finally had to get a pace maker & had heart failure. Hope who reads this knows that you can & will survive the feeling of crappy beats lol

Thank you Dr. Gupta. I understood your explanation very well. I’ve been treated for this for 20 years and no one has ever explained it in depth like this. Coupled with your video on the stomach and heart connection I now understand my body and experiences with my heart much more than ever. You are doing a lot of people much good!

One thing I have enjoyed about your videos is how very clear you make things. I'm currently under a cardiologist at the northern general hospital in Sheffield. Before watching any of your videos I was petrified my heart was going to stop or suddenly I'd have a heart attack due to my palpitations and ectopics. Although my tests are still on going I feel so much more relaxed. I watched the video were you tapped out each type of palpitation and after it felt like a weight had been lifted. Nobody has ever bothered to go into such detail to explain. The anxiety that I had about my heart has almost completely gone. Thank you for making your videos they make it easy for people like myself to understand what's going on. I hope you take the time to read this and understand that your videos have made my mood and quality of life better. I was walking around depressed waiting for something to happen and now I don't worry as much. Thank you.

My heart just randomly skips sometimes and makes me stop for a split second. Im so over it, every time worrying about if im about to die or not. I feel fine except for when this happens and gives me anxiety.

Amazing, genuine, thoughtful and caring guy. Explains like your talking to a friend but a qualified cardiologist. He has helped me calm down about my ectopics. Hes also gentle and kind in his tone. Lovely guy.

Very helpful....thank you for this explanation. Gives me some peace of mind. However, still frightening when it occurs.

If only all doctors (Cardiologists) cared this much and had this type of bedside manner with explaining things to their patients. I have found more times than not doctors in the USA just don't seem to care and do not explain things to their patients - or completely dismiss their concerns all together. Most doctors could learn a thing or two from Dr. Gupta.

Thud!! Scary! I get them when I'm trying to go to sleep and it takes my breath away! Feels as if I'm dying!
This video has more of an explanation than I got from my cardiologist😁, whom by the way, I adore.
Thank you!
