You are amazing at calming my anxieties about my heart and it's great because when I'm having a lot of ectopics i get nervous but then after watching a video or 2 of yours I'm no longer worried which in turn makes my ectopics get way better for a period of time. Anxiety definitely makes ectopics worse!!!

You may or may not realize it. But the videos you do like this really help emotional and mental health. I get really worried about things like this (perhaps I'm a hypochondriac, as I've been thoroughly checked in the past and I'm fine). Your videos like this really help put me at ease and relieve stress, anxiety and even sadness relating to my worry. There's probably hundreds that never comment that you help in this way also. Thank you!

You immediately put my mind at ease and calm my anxiety with these videos. I have had pvc’s for years and when my anxiety is bad they are much worse and then I worry more that there something worse wrong with me even though I’ve been checked out. If only all doctors explained this like you do and were so reassuring.

Literally made me laugh when he had to knock for 30 seconds. He so amazing. I wish we had more doctors like him in the uk. I suffer with palpitations on and off, not every day, more near my menstrual cycle. So if there is anyone else in the world who also suffers the same. I'm happy to chat to calm each others nerves. Were all in this together ❤😊✌

I really love your topics because my specialty is Panic Attacks and of course many people are worried (and focused on) about their heart beats. I think you should make workshops for Psychologists and you can do it online. :) Thanks for your great work.

I got the chance to speak to this wonderful human a few weeks back. And I highly suggest that everyone if you are suffering from any type of heart anxiety or real issues book an app with Dr.Gupta. He will listen to you not rush you off the phone and be engaging in the conversation. And what most of us need is just someone to listen and to tell us that it will be alright.

I still feel etopics and that won’t change but I view things very differently. Thank you Dr.Gupta!

thank you SO much for this. I've had the "missed beat" type of palpitation for as long as I can remember, and they honestly never bothered me a bit until recently (panic disorder is fun, but I'm getting better! slowly...), BUT I had that flutter feeling pretty distinctly the other night - I swear I even felt it when I rushed to check my pulse (but tbh that could have been psychosomatic/a neck muscle twitch, who knows lol, I'm not rational when I'm anxious), and I've been worrying myself sick about afib ever since. I'm still relatively young (30) and have no history of heart issues, but my anxiety is very good at convincing me that every little thing is wrong with me! it's ridiculously hard to find easily digestible information like this about heart rhythms - the text on most cardiology websites is vague when it comes to what it FEELS like for the person experiencing it. Just mentions of "palpitations, shortness of breath, or maybe asymptomatic lol good luck have fun". I'm legit about to cry with relief, because indeed, my flutter - or "run of ectopics" as you've put it ;) - lasted, at most, about three seconds lol. Seriously. Thank you so much. I can breathe easy and inevitably find some other somatic feeling to obsess over now!!!! (😅😂😭)

You have been giving me peace of mind for years. I started getting something known as PVCs for about 6 years now. I just got an echo and had a stress test. Awaiting results. Thank you for your kind insight. Subscribed!

I just wanted to thank you so much for your videos, most of the day I am frozen to the couch because I am terrified of these darn things. Everything I have read on Google is terrifying. Thank you so much!!

Max HR: 138 bpm
Min HR: 41 bpm
Mean HR: 62 bpm
Max R-R: 1.72s

VE/PVC 11 (< 0.1% of all beats)

Comments:
Sinus rhythm throughout

Palpitations (x8): Isolated atrial ectopic beats (x1), sinus rhythm
55-95bpm (x3), non sustained ventricular tachycardia (x1), ventricular
ectopic beat (x3)
Dizziness, palpitations (x1): 60-75bpm

What scares me is one run of NSVT. Four beats. 1 second. At 160 BPM.

I collapsed while in Holland visiting my daughter and was rushed into hosp and kept over night, my heart was going 193bpm, I am now on blood thinners and have had an MRI, they lost my 72hr heart recording, I get these episodes once a week now and it terrifies me, waiting on all these results, my last trip to hospital after I took ill at work the Dr told me it is life threatening, I am always just sat still when it happens...thank you

I had an episode that I SWORE lasted a minute. After watching you tap out 30 seconds, I realized mine probably was about 10 seconds max. Man, fear sure makes time drag on.
