This brings back memories. Radio Shack used to sell key switches so about 20 years ago I knew what I had to do.

I actually did a DOUBLE key with a PC that I put in a box for fun: one is a normal key like yours in the video and the other was a key of an home alarm with led and everything, I figured out the pi out and connected it together, it's AWESOME!!!
