How To Turn On A TV Without A Remote-Tutorial

In this video, I show you and tell you how to turn on a TV without a remote. If you have lost your television remote and you want to watch your favorite show, then this is the video for you. You can still likely power on your TV and change the channel and volume using some of the buttons or dials on the side or the back of the TV. I show you exactly how to do it throughout the video with some simple instructions!

Saved the day! Until I find the remote, this was a quick fix! Found what I thought in the past was just an on-off power switch, but with the advice from this video, I discovered rhat with a light touch I could change channels, change the volume and more. Ive run my hand around and hadn't found a power button. Did it again to prove your wrong and find it. It's a single button built into the power light area. Felt like the screw mounts instead if a button. I pressed two screws prior to that one. Never give up lol.

Oh wow I never thought to look on my TV to see if there was a power button. I feel kind of dumb but thanks for the help. My remote stopped working. My TV is kind of old cause I bought it online to replace another TV I had it’s an old RCA.

If you don't have a surge protector and the power goes out, UNPLUG the TV, wait a bit, plug it back in. THAT is what worked for us.
