I built a dirt house if you wanna consider it a big build. But the redstone in it... oh boy. I got 2 PRESSURE PLATES which open up my iron doors. I got 2 LEVERS that can turn on a redstone lamp. But most of all, i got those crafting tables popping out the ground. Damn i need to make a house tour

Some tips for you guys:

- Follow video instructions! 'nuff said.
- When taking breaks, go and do something irl, maybe something easy like loading/unloading the dishwasher/laundry machine? That way you get work done and you can play Minecraft
- Podcasts are really good if you can't focus when playing music, I reccomend Power Pros if you like Nintendo, Welcome to Night Vale if you like weird, cool fiction, and Upvoted if you want to see the stories behind the Reddit front page phenomena
- Don't overwork yourself! Do hand and eye exercises/stretches every 20/30 minutes to avoid any injuries that might arise.
I'm not a medical expert or something and I don't know everyone's lives but that's what I at least aim to do while working on large projects.

I've been finding your channel with the search bar for months now. It's about time I subscribed. Love your videos; you obviously put _tons_ of effort into every video.

A polite suggestion Mumbo. Try watching this video EVERY time you're about to start your own build! :)

A related tip to using a different building materials for your scaffolding... use something that breaks with a different tool than the main building material for your scaffolds. It will make it easier to break them without accidentally breaking parts of the build. (I do this when I'm making grass sky platforms too- I put a stone layer underneath so I don't accidentally dig through with a shovel.

Absolutely love this video! Love the clips you tied together in this edit. Great job creating a flowing story/video that was fun to watch the whole time. Love the little comedic bits you put in there too. Awesome work on it!

idk if I'm the only one but the blurred out gameplay in the background when there is text on the screen irritated me sooo much lol. Idk why it just does.

"Plan out how many resources you're going to need." The correct answer (for me at least) is always ALWAYS "More"

For finding out how many blocks you need exactly, I prefer using shematica mod for a couple reasons. 1) I don't like using another program just to count blocks, seems like a bit of a time waste to me. and 2) schematica mod lets you make a schematic of your build from that creative copy you made, and then go on that server or survival world and create a blueprint of it. It lays out ghost blocks for you of the EXACT build you copied, without any issues whatsoever to server plugins or anything, as it's all client side.

Leaves make great scaffolding. They have another advantage of being removed with shears, which will not harm most of the build.
