My great grand mother got diagnosed with Alzheimer’s around April so she’s had it for a couple months ago and I’m dreading the day she forgets me. I’m just happy right now that she has my great grandad to help her but even he has medical issues because of his legs.

currently in a nursing assistant course aboit to go to clinicals in a week 😅. I know im going to see some heart breaking stuff.

Right now my job is a companion sitter for a hospice basically.I go in and sit with people When they are about to pass away so they don't die alone

My grandfather had alzheimers, was in a nursing for over 5 years till he pased from pneumonia due to his body function shutting down

my dad died from alzhwimers two years ago

During his lqst couple of months, he was so skinny we could see his bones, and he could barely talk

it was horrible

im glad hes in a better place now 💜
