Good times, back when greatness and will to stand out was something to be proud of, , not something to be ashamed of

Yes, that's why I am unemployed. I am so good, there's no one as good or better than me.

100% true. However, sometimes it's nice to work with someone who is slightly better than you. It makes you feel closer to short and mid-term goals, which is super encouraging and helps you stay on track for your long-term goals.

This is wonderful! Steve Jobs is sharing his powerful insights into how people embrace a growth mindset. He seems to simplify life to its essence. Shed your complicated mindset and embrace your passion for being excellent at what you are and what God created you to do. Thank you God for creating people like Steve Jobs and his Apple business.

Really liked his thoughts on so many things...
Andrew Carnegie was one of them and he also said something like this ❤️😌

HONESTLY WHENEVER it’s TIME, I don’t want to PARTY: I want to go OFF GRID and WORK. So that means I have to have people who ARE JUST AS HUNGRY AS I AM!!!
Because if they are CRYING about working it will DRIVE ME CRAZY; my work ethic is 10X the amount as my WORKOUT INTENSITY. *SO ANYBODY who’s witnessed me working out would totally understand. 😂 ON EVERYTHING I LOVE ❤️

I noticed Steve Jobs reached out and convinced the other tech companies to not only not poach from one another, but to turn down Apple employees if they reach out.

Guess he wasn't concerned about keeping the best people through competitive pay

It's incredibly important to obsess over exactly what each person's role needs to be in a project. Once you've spent countless hours visualizing what those roles need to be, the perfect collaborators will spring up like popcorn. They will just start working with you like getting out of bed. Very easy at that point if you've gone mad visualizing what you need to fulfill your dreams.

Can’t tell how much this resonates with what I have experienced. Some CEOs just don’t have the skill to hire the right people.

If everyone refused to work with people less advanced I wonder how anyone would progress

I’ve found it really sad to observe that too many of ‘the best’ have egos that limit their true potential, becoming a toxic influence to the teams and companies they work in.

The problem I have with this type of thinking is that nobody will end up working with anyone.

If I don't work with people not as good as me, why should someone better than me also want to work with me especially since I'm not as good as him.

Society doesn't always work that way.

Why not work with them both, after all, we can learn both ways...perhaps different things but we still learn.

You should work with the lesser people in order for them to work with someone better. Got it.

Great interview with some interesting insight. The intense personality traits that have been described about Musk makes it sound like he may have Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Curious why no one has ever looked into this further.
