I always mentor by groups and have done for a minute as I think it helps with traits and building a connection. Centre backs and keepers together, wingers and full backs together, defensive mids and centre mids together and then attacking mids and strikers together.

Regarding mentoring, I suggest creating groups of players with similar roles, defenders with defenders, midfielders with midfielders. This is better because, in addition to determination, young players also learn traits from seniors, and it might be inconvenient for an attacker to learn a defensive move or vice versa.

Great video as always!
Should've showed the training units where you can promote players from the youth teams to train with the senior team though.

hello bro, thank u for tips. What should I do for training a b2b player?Should I put him in defensive unit some weeks and move him to attacking unit some weeks?

I don’t train a position until the player is 22-23 as I prefer to train other elements such as technical and physical. There is a generic default ie M(C) and I just stick with that until they get older. Seems to work better for me

I didn't exactly understand the last tip. What training sessions should I choose in order to develop players individually? Do I just check every session until I find out what sessions include individual trainings?

Using Console and Dunfermline tips 1&2 are going in as I write but there is no coaches screen and tips 3 4 & 5 don't seem to be available. Not sure whether it's a console thing or my basement entry level team. - PS I need a vdo on how to kick Buchman's ass. Free loan but his lethargy doesn't seem to be trainable.

Does match practice improve younger players in the first team and also sharpness? Better than moving them to playing u23’s?

All this things should go without saying if you consider yourself a FM player. Even more out there. Mentoring groups can be created according the positions in the team, or general tactical unites, at least. Two Recovery sessions after home match do wonders, etc...Players learn positions in training, not roles that much, but they train and develop attributes of the role assigned to them to train. So, for a young talented MC/DMC Roaming Playmaker role is an absolute must, for some time, until that player profiles his self in complete and clear way. Always keep an eye on the Dynamics of the team and bear it in mind, along with players age when making mentoring groups. In Coach responsibilities 4 stars for Lead Coach Rating is what you actually want. You'll get it by the coaches with 14+ attributes for Level Of Discipline, Motivating and Determination. More important than attributes on the left, that actually just determine coaches' field of expertise ( attack, defense, mental, technique, tactical ). 3, 5 stars are good for the start, but 4 and more gives you real quality training. Also, senior players (23+) with lower than 12 attributes for Work Rate and Determination are not worth your attention. They will never be real winners. Youngsters can increase rating for Determination via Mentoring and for Work Rate by individual Endurance training. Individual training for youngsters should be updated/altered on three weeks period. For accurate advice always assign a Staff member with the highest attribute for Tactical Coaching ( not Tactical Knowledge, Tactical on the left column of the coaching attributes ).

I wish you would stop making training videos. Training is the most disgusting part of this game. There's zero point making your schedule because so many blocks will get replaced with rest/travel and you can't change it. Training is just a mess and needs a complete overhaul.
