Right now Intel is still learning the pack with the most diverse selection of power and price when it comes to laptop processors, but AMD Ryzen is HOT on Intel's tail. As it sits right now if you are in the $400 - $800 budget range than you might be better suited to pick up a Ryzen laptop, but if you are looking for a premium laptop you may not have many options today. But watch out because I anticipate a lot of AMD Ryzen laptops coming out in the next 9 - 18 months.

Hey guys! I am considering the acer nitro 5 (Ryzen 7 octacore 4800h, 4gb GeForce GTX 1650, 8gb ram, 60hz refresh rate)

AND

Msi gf75 (thin core i7 9gen, 16gb ram, 4gb nvidia GeForce GTX 1650, 144 hz refresh rate)

Now I know that the msi laptop has overall better specs. Consider just the processors, which one is better? Plus, I play decent amount of games, but I need an overall balanced laptop for everyday use.
