We are comparing a X3D cpu to a regular new gen CPU… Ofc it’s not going to out perform even AMD said they would not. They only out perform the non X3D cpus because the x3D tech is ground breaking.

They recalled it because of some typo on the label making the ryzen 7 9700x to ryzen 9 9700x

First of all, two weeks is by no means enough time to fix performance problems, especially if the processors have already ended up in the hands of resellers and others like HP, Dell, etc.

Secondly, the problem was the first batch of processors had the wrong names (e.g. Ryzen 9 9700 which should be Ryzen 5 9700)

the AMD 7950X3D and 9950X has the exact same cores, threads, and L2 cache.

Funny enough the intel I9-14009KS has more cores and L2 cache than these two CPUs so i'm questioning if the newest ryzen 9 is even worth looking at let alone buying
