PROOF Lordship Salvation gives NO assurance!

Our listener asks, "Hi, my name is __________ and almost two
years ago I trusted in the finished work of
Jesus Christ on the cross to get me into
heaven. I was sure I was saved on that
basis alone, and I still have little knowledge
about the Bible. So in searching for more knowledge I started listening to pastors on
YouTube and I learned about Lordship
versus Free Grace Theology. I heard John
MacArthur, and I got really scared and
unsure of my salvation because I am still
struggling with sin. I still believe that I am going to heaven, but I still get unsure at
times because I don’t know the Bible like
someone who grew up in church."
Here some proof that Lordship Salvation (Calvinism) is false and gives no assurance!

After I was saved there was a hunger for God. So as a baby Christian I turned to “Christian” radio. There I encountered John MacArthur and all the others. I lived in horrible fear. I would ask myself how do I know I’ve repented enough or surrendered enough after that I had clearly believed that Jesus died for my sins. I eventually through my hands up and gave up on the Christian life. Years later after being backslidden the Lord led me back. I’m so thankful that I found teaching like this that put me on solid ground. Lordship salvation is from Satan himself!

As the day is long the attacks will continue. I know this person's struggle as I had a similar experience but I plead with God to show me the truth and 2015 I finally understood. I placed my hope in Christ alone to save me.
When service was required to be saved it was a burden and I found no joy in it but now that I am saved without effort of my own I want to be obedient. It is amazing how that works.
Serving shouldn't be a burden but a joy!

I grew up with this type of doctrine and it killed my self confidence and had me feeling unworthy until about a month ago. I am 52 and received the GIFT of salvation 4 years ago. I grew up surrounded by believers who didnt understand how to explain salvation to me and answer questions that were challenging. I ran a long dark road for most of my life with an poor attitude towards God and at times Id say I was almost atheist. I can attest to how damaging this kind of talk can be. The answer is to read your Bible! I learned this after having much the same experience as the man who posed the question. I appreciate this video so very much. Thank you sir, and may God bless you and yours.

For a couple of years or so I listened to teaching from John Macarthur, Paul Washer, John Piper in regards to salvation and conversion and it did not lead me down a path of assurance or certainty. But rather down a path of hopelessness, fear, depression and despair. By Gods awesome help and grace I have come out of that. And it’s amazing to see that I’m not the only one who has experienced what I experienced from listening to them but countless others have gone through the same thing as well. I thinks it’s safe to say that what they teach is false given the result of fear and uncertainty it produces in people who listen to them. I have to add as well that the worst of them all in my opinion in regards to lordship salvation is a pastor named Tim Conway from the Let’s be Honest YouTube channel. Listening to that guy really sunk me in a deep depression and hopelessness. Just be careful of who you listen to out there and keep your eyes on the Lord and your mind in the scriptures.

Amen Pastor Jesse! We all need to stop Googling, YouTube-ing, social media debating, news watching, and book reading less...and study God's Word ALOT more. #soulwin.🕊💜🙏🏼

New to the channel and glad to be here! My Christian journey had me exclusively listening to Macarthur and Washer and the like until I found the OSAS message on channels like Onorato Diamante and yours. The scriptures are truly clear when they are explained soberly and truly. Thank you for your service!

I once heard some Lordship friends of mine talking about another member in our church who had obvious struggles. He was an inner city guy with learning disabilities. Then one of them said, "He just needs to get saved" and they all laughed. Yet I knew those one of those Lordship guys had OCD issues and the other struggled with anger and pride. Neither of them admitted it but I knew because they were my neighbors.

Our Lutheran pastor said it this way: trying to gain God’s favor through obedience to the Law is like trying to use a fork in an electric socket in order to get electricity .

This is now the second time I randomly came across your channel researching things about my previous church that I felt were off. I felt very oppressed in that church and didn't know why. It was a missionary church and many of the sermons were guilt trips about how we should always be doing more. No matter how much I did it was never enough for those people. My Bible never made sense to me. They invited all sorts of random people to preach that always contradicted what the church beliefs but they were "doers" or Messianic Jews who "know more about the faith than us". Thankfully I am now out of that church but it has taken a toll on my mental health. I have been very confused with the messages online by Washer and other very works based preachers. I have come across Renee this week and when I heard her message it all clicked. This is the good news I learned as a child. I lost it for a while to Lordship salvation confusion/fear but I think I can heal now. Going to subscribe to your channel so I can keep hearing the good news.

Excellent, Jesse!!!
John MacArthur teaches damnable heresies! His followers believe what he says instead of what the Bible teaches! 😞
My question for them is, how is that "man worship" working for you?

I heard a prominent Calvinist teacher question the salvation of a once faithful church attendee who missed two straight Sunday church services.

It's always the Christians who have the least popular Youtube channels that The Holy Spirit reveals to me are telling the truth. People find it hard to fully understand and embrace grace, even genuine believers. They get thrown into confusion by doctrines that subtly attack the grace of God. I've fallen into this myself in the past, but The Holy Spirit has cleaned up that confusion over the years and won't allow me to be thrown deep in confusion anymore. If I sin God will discipline me as a Son so there is still a deterrent to not sin. God not sparing the rod is enough of a deterrent for me, but I choose to believe with all my heart that I'm saved by grace alone because of Jesus dying for my sins. This doesn't mean i don't fear sin because reading about King David's sin and the discipline of The Lord that came upon him is definitely enough to make me fear God despite believing my salvation is secure.
