I like how people like to argue with these cardiologists (who are pretty much spot on), with their own ignorant drivel that isn't based on anything scientific.

-When you eat fats they enter the blood stream, and are only there for around 8 minutes. At that point they are broken down by enzymes into fatty acids. 
-At the same time, your own glycogen stores are being broken down in the same way, by the same enzyme. This happens when you are fasting as well.
-This means whether youre eating fat, or fasting, your glycogen is being broken down and used. 
-When insulin is secreted it completely stops this process.
     - it causes glucose, to turn into glycogen. 
     - It causes the fat you just ate to not break down into fatty acids, but instead go into fat storage immediately.
     - And It also causes existing fatty acids to be turned back into fat.

Wow! Its probably a good idea to not trigger insulin very often! Insulin seems obviously counter-productive to fat loss..

How do you trigger insulin? BY EATING SUGAR AND CARBS. 
Ergo.. fat doesnt make you fat. Sugar (and any combination of fat, and protein with sugar) will.

back in the day when we ate lard and fresh vegetables raw milk and lots of water we had a lot less health problems, I'm just sayin

Okay but it's not as though you can eat as much fat as you want and not gain weight. Your body is only going to burn stored fat if you are eating a calorie deficit, otherwise it'll burn the fat you eat and store any surplus. Eating HFLC makes it a lot easier to limit your calorie intake due to it's affect on appetite, that's it. There's nothing magical about the way fats are metabolized vs how sugars are metabolized which make either more readily converted into fat.

you can make awesome deserts out of almond meal and coconut flour ...both high in fibre and protein and good fats.

Fat makes you full, havent eaten for two days, few spoons of coconut oil daily nothing else. FEELING GREAT !!!

I'm down nearly 30 lbs since January 2015 by switching to a somewhat self styled Paleo lifestyle. I simply do not worry about how much fat I'm taking in...It's kind of self limiting by way of satiety anyway. I am 63 yo and do NOT take any prescription meds. I do not spend time looking for, or worrying about all the grass fed, free range stuff unless it is in my face at the store and on sale at a reasonable price. I check my BP at the drug store for free.

I think the best foods to eat are raw..avocado's nuts olives coconuts and fruits
then lightly cook vegetables with a little fish and eggs chicken

The majority who have been programed to eat high carbs and low fat will not like this video ...It is much less painful to criticize the  messenger than to change there behavior.

The ratio of omega 3 to 6 in olive oil is not good so why to encourege peolple to gulping this oil on regular bases.

Hi there, have you considered this kind of diet plan known as the Fenoboci Diet Plan? My work buddy says it helps people lost plenty of weight. Is that possible? I also read a lot of great review relating to this diet plan. Thoughts?
