16 miler today, supposed to be 18 but ran out of time! Felt surprisingly good though so feeling confident for next week's long run as part of my current marathon training block.

Did 18 miles today. Struggled towards the end but finished it ❤

Ran my first half marathon distance yesterday (I’m on week 9 of my 18 week program for marathon training!) tried to run a bit at goal pace and it’s giving me confidence - definitely going to think about including some pace work during part of the long run ✨

Thanks for inspiring video! 16, 5 miles yesterday on asphalt at steady pace in Adios Pro 2. Carbon plate pretty hard on the legs so is not gonna be my marathon shoe. Next longrun is 19 miles at easy in a non plated.

For the past couple of months I have had a heel injury. Of all the the runs I have missed it is the long runs I am pining for. I really miss the meditative nature of three hours out on my own in the countryside with just the cows to talk to.

I ran 30km for the first time yesterday and it was really painful. I can't (yet) imagine run another 12 km. well - there is still some time until berlin. ;)

I think what would be good.. underwear.. cycling shorts etc.. what’s recommended? Only I’ve done runs of 15 miles with NO issue..and runs of 4 miles needing to ‘correct’ and other things.. as well as chaffing, Hurting etc ..

Ran my first 18 miler ever yesterday. Last 4 miles were hard work like pain cave in the legs. Heart rate was high zone 2 creeping into zone 3 so dropped off the effort a bit but was still no easier

Great video. What hydration vest are you wearing?

During a long run like this is it all continuous or are u stopping periodically (even if just for a minute or two) whether that’s for stretching, hydration, mental recalibration??? I live in the US and it’s 80-85 degrees even at 6:00am so I’m struggling to keep myself moving throughout a long run. Partly bc I don’t run slow enough but just curious if you ever break throughout. Thx and great video
