I want to know if they actually put the TLX in Sport mode. Because brake boosting with the transmission in D and mode in Sport + isn't going to give you the most power.

I seen my first Type S yesterday. That thing looks good!!!! I don't care if it's slower in a straight line. I bet it handles better and the quality is better also.

Love how the haters are shading the G as a Hyundai, as if the TLX isnt a Honda. Friendly reminder, the G is the ENTRY LEVEL model while the TLX is Honda's "top of the line" sedan. Oops 🤭

The G70 awd traps about 4 mph higher than a Type S stock for stock so that doesn’t surprise me at all. It makes a good bit more than 368 HP though. I’ve seen them dyno ~340whp bone stock on 93 so they’re making upwards of 400 HP at the flywheel. Type S really aren’t that fast stock and really need a tune to wake them up.

Saw the type s on a dyno, only 280 awhp, plus its pretty heavy. obvious outcome really

A point I should note, the Stinger and G70 have been dyno'd stock giving 320-330 whp figures, which is closer to 400hp. I think they are understating the power of the G70 and Stingers, that's not a 13hp difference in gap. And both of them are heavy cars (yh ik the G70 is lighter)

Its seriously disappointing how slow the Type S is compared to its competitors. Like bro, the 2020 Supra had just as much power and it was Mustang GT fast.

It makes sense, the G70 is lighter, has more power and more torque. It’s also cheaper too and looks luxurious inside and out.




I’d still take the TLX Type S.
