Thanks for the Vid! Very helpful. Got a guy on LetGO trying to sell me this Stihl for $150. I'm using Echo right now and had started to lean towards this purchase. That still goes for $199 these days. I think I'm going to just find me another SRM 225, though we might go with the PAS like you. Keep posting. Thanks again.

Nice little comparison video, I may have to try an Echo out one of these days I like the hand held blower I have by Echo but the Stihl FS 70 I think would be hard to get rid of it is a peppy little light weight trimmer that has been getting it done for 3 years with no issues.

I have the srm 225 and love using it over my stihl fs80. starts with less effort on the pull cord even though it has 21cc and the stihl fs80 has 25cc I could cut a little more delicately with the echo .work with a guy who has all stihl equipment and I tend to find myself bringing my echo along for the day . had since 2008. just be careful of the gas u use I'll screw up your carb .

The echo srm225 shaft is longer and the echo is semi commercial and stihl is home owner the echo is going to last you way longer that's for sure I had the stihl fs56 and I only got a year and half commercially it didn't hold up it needed a new short block
