Just bout the 56 after running its og the 55r for over 15 trouble free years and counting! Can't go wrong with Stihl. i hope this new one is made as well as my old Stihl.

We use the 55r’s at the parks. They are ok. The 225 will get it done too though.

Ive run this echo and it ran great. But the 56 is cheaper and has way more power and has never given a problem

Bought FS56 RC and I am ecstatic on it's performance and durability, cutting between boulders despite the design seems easier to turn to edge, clean...my buddy has the Echo and he DOES work on it plenty...go get the BG 50 blower and. you're ready to go...you might stick some grease in the head unit to keep that gear box running clean...

2 years? I hear you man but right when I started with my brother, we both had the Echo 225. 10 years later., just seeing it’s day. Shindaiwa/Echo is the way to go in my opinion.

The price I payed for it was $228 dollars from Big blue in Kinston North Carolina I don't know if that's the of that weed eater now but you got check one for your self you be very surprised how your yards will turn out to be because I'm shocked how tall and thick the grass was when I cut their yard

great vid the stihl has a shrouded design and gets less dust dirt compared to echo the stihl engines feel more power than echo and iv used lots. you just have to becareful on easy start not to pull wild a slow pull so it doesnt break

I own the Echo SRM 2620 and the Stihl FS 56 The difference comes down to branding, both machines are top of the line, but it's like saying Ford is better than Chevy, it comes down to Fan boy and nothing else. I will say though that the Stihl starts with one pull all the time every time and the Echo I have to fight with every time to get it started, customers look at me like...Really

Good video. Trying to decide on one myself. Echo 5 year warranty and Stihl 4 years. 15 + years ago Stihl all the way. Echo is buildings better product today. I would give them a tie or the edge to Echo.
