I could remember few years back after my wife died, I was left alone with 3 kids. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder, got addicted to meth. I was addicted to meth from age 25 to 38 and I used intravenously for much of that time.
I was told that once you start using needles that you will never recover from meth but I got off needles then slowly got myself of smoking and snorting meth.
It was a long road and at times I did not think I would make it and thought id lose my mind or die before I got off it.
But here I am and it’s been about six or seven months and I am still clean and sober.
I thank God every day for my recovery and I will not go back if I can avoid it.
I almost lost my life and I am not going through that again!!

*Why these drugs are around anyway. I'm still digging through. My brother is 19 he's been a Drug Addict for almost 1 year now I believe and I'm certain he's using Meth this is the most common drug used in Philippines other than that is Marijuana. He and his friends started with Marijuana and they swore they would never ever try to do more than that look at them now. Since my brother started using it we suffer more. I suffer more daily. His behaviours, his temper, his threats etc. I fear for everything day by day. And I'm losing my patient. These kids are ruining their life for such a little moment of fun. I pray everyday they change and become sober forever. I'm suffering it's even Christmas here Dec 25, 2023 and all I've done is breakdown and cry it's all because of him he's stressful he's putting so many stress in our family.😭😭*

I left this drug 2 and a half years ago but the negative effects of meth are still in my body and mind even after treatment you will have such mental problems that exist now it stayed in my body till now
