I'm three months clean and I still think about it every minute of every day

I've tried it twice and it's very addictive. The urge to re-dose is so strong it takes a lot of willpower to resist. Also as an introvert it's ability to make me feel confident and outgoing was like finding the answer I'd always been looking for, but it's all a lie and drugs will destroy you. Stay away.

I dated a meth addict. She always went back to meth lol. I have no idea where she's at today, but I've never seen anyone so addicted to one thing

I recovered from meth addiction after 3 1/2 years. It had its hooks in me so deep, I didn’t think there was a way out. I’m 2 1/2 years clean and I’m never going back.

I tried it 3 times. Just didn’t like it. Maybe I’m weird. Prayers to those who struggle.

I did it once and it felt so damn great but the next day I was utterly depressed. I'd rather just do mdma every 2 months or so

I've been clean 19 years after doing it for about 3 1/2 years and still have an occasional dream about trying to hide a bag somewhere, or forgetting where I put it. Lol. It does get better with time (never thinking about it ) but not 100%. I'm at 98% and that's ok. I was fortunate to have never been busted. Important thing is to find something positive to occupy your free time and become as educated as you reasonably can about everything.

I had be hospitalized in 2019 just for being too high on weed. Can’t imagine being high on a hallucinogenic drug. Terrifying.

My whole life I've dealt with addiction... But it's always the people I love. My uncle... Then my step dad...my friends...My ex husband is addicted to heroine. I have worked with drug addicts and dealt with it for so long. It's killing me watching the people I love the most always die or lose their livelihood to drugs. Now I'm dealing with my daughter's meth addiction... And I'm just so dang tired of it. Addiction doesn't just suck out the life of the addict but everyone who's involved with that addict. It's like a contagious cancer of depression, chaos, and sadness. The worst part is that this "chemical" response is so strong in their brain... They are willing to hurt you and everyone else to get it. I don't understand why anyone ever even tries drugs knowing that it can cause so much pain and destruction.

My grandmother told me as a kid if I didn't want to be an alcoholic then never, ever take a drink. If I didn't want to be a drug addict then never, ever use drugs. I took the advise and despite major back problems and terrible pain, I never use anything. Amazing woman.
